About Me

A little something about me.

Helping has been a lifelong endeavor. Many years have been spent as a clinician, administering and directing programs for children, families, substance abusers, and women. As a licensed clinical social worker and certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor my work has been in part, the culmination of my own personal journey.

As a clinician and an author, I have been able to help others through a recent publication, “Lyme Rage: A Mother’s Struggle to Save her Daughter from Lyme Disease.” Buy Lyme Rage

Compassion is an important part of helping. I want every person to feel comfortable as self-awareness increases during the process of change and self-discovery.

I recognize the journey of understanding is as unique as each individual who willingly chooses to participate in creating a life they have envisioned for themselves.

Taking the time to focus on what you really want is a valuable exercise of the mind. What you may discover along the way is not always a view you expected to see. This is the challenge faced when examining your life under the mental and emotional microscope.

Your experiences are the reference points needed to plot your future path or to be more mindful and live each day fully in the present. Where you want to go, you will decide.

Along the way, I want to obtain your feedback as you move towards attaining your goals. So together we can review the successes and obstacles along the way.

Once you decide to participate, I am committed to working with you until you make the decision that you have accomplished what you want.
